TRIVIA:
Jennie: Lady Randolph Churchill reunited Charles Kay with frequent thesbian co-stars Randolph Pickup and Jeremy Brett, though they had no scenes together.

• Charles Kay appears in the final episode of this series. His character, Montie Porch, was Jennie Jerome's third husband, whom she married on June 1, 1918, and was three years younger than her son, Winston Churchill. Montague Phippen Porch (1877–1964) was a member of the British Civil Service in Nigeria and, at the end of World War I, Porch resigned from the colonial service. In 1921, he returned to Africa to find his fortune. After Jennie's death, Montie married Donna Giulia Patrizi in 1926 (died 1938), who was a daughter of the Marchese Patrizi della Rocca.
