SYNOPSIS:
William Shakespeare's Henry V. Crowned at a young age, Henry V becomes determined to be a decisive leader. After being insulted by a French envoy, he asserts a hereditary claim to France, gathers his army, and marches toward the miraculous Battle of Agincourt.

Henry V was Kenneth Branagh's critically-acclaimed directorial debut.

• Charles Kay previous worked with Kenneth Branagh (and Emma Thompson) in the mini-series Fortunes of War (1987). Branagh cast Charles Kay as a direct result of their previous collaboration.

• Charles Kay previously played Canterbury in a stage production of Henry V during his run with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the 1960's.
